SUNTER, JAKARTA — A total of 36 micro-enterprise owners supported by Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra (YDBA) participated in a two-day training program on AI-powered content creation, held on June 24–25, 2026, in Sunter, North Jakarta. The program was organized by YDBA in collaboration with technology company MWX.
Most participants operate in the food and beverage sector, while the rest run businesses in fashion and handicrafts. The majority manage their businesses independently and rely primarily on their smartphones as their main business tool. The training curriculum was designed progressively, beginning with an introduction to digital tools before moving on to hands-on sessions in creating images, short-form videos, and promotional copy using the CreateWhiz and SmartWhiz applications.
Each participant received a trial account with 100 credits for each application. According to MWX’s records, 33 of the 35 activated accounts continued to be used during and after the training program.
To encourage continued adoption, Benar Foundation will provide additional free access to the applications for participants who actively use them, helping them continue practicing the skills they have learned. This benefit can be renewed repeatedly as long as participants remain active users.
Since 1980, YDBA has supported more than 13,000 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through its guiding philosophy of “teaching people how to fish, rather than simply giving them fish.”
